The Day…and its done!
// April 22nd, 2012 // No Comments » // Diary
So today came and went quickly! With the most nerves I’ve ever had – it went by in a blur.
But I did it!
I completed in 5.26 which I’m comfortable with. Having been ill for the last 2 weeks, I knew I just had to not push myself too hard, and just make sure I crossed that line. The pain set in at 23 miles and I had to walk the last 3. But I got there!
With aches, and pains, and tears and sunburn – it was so worth it!
That’s me done for now.

And that’s just the registration! It really made me realise Sunday is going to be a day full of emotions. I’ve never been so nervous.

// March 25th, 2012 // No Comments » // DiaryI’ve discovered a new condition. I call it bowling ball feet.

Just got my 18 miler in. I ran 9 miles across London and back again! I think by the end I was running like a snail. (I did actually walk at a couple of points to increase my speed) Continue Reading >
